Rita Indiana will publish his new book in Spain, “Asmodeus”which will be available in bookstores starting May 20 from Periférica.
The Dominican singer and writer Rita Indiana you will see published in our country “Asmodeus”, his new book. A literary work that tells us the story of the ancient demon of waning powers Asmodeus. This character leaves the body of the rocker forties in which he has been living for decades to look for a younger one. The imp jumps from guest to guest until he immerses himself in the motley emotional territory of Santo Domingo in 1992: from the local heavy metal scene to the house of a former torturer at the service of the Balaguer dictatorship.
This work is latent proof of Rita Indiana's multidisciplinary talent, who does not stop creating regardless of the project in front of her. In this new adventure, the artist explores the most creative part of her by inventing her own story from scratch, but surely she maintains the essence present in musical projects such as her albums. “Maninga Times”(20) or “The Juidero“(10).
