Ride, first confirmation of Visor Fest

The Valencian festival Fest Viewer maintains its essence again with the first of the confirmations for its next edition, which will take place once again in September. We talk about the British band Ride.

Few imagined that there would be a renaissance of the shoegaze sound and that this would mean the revaluation of some of its most emblematic groups. One of these names is Ride, a group born in Oxford (United Kingdom) in 1988 and which separated in 1996 and then returned in 2014 and has remained current since then thanks to classics such as “Nowhere” either “Going Blank Again” until reaching its seventh full-length, “Interplay”released in 2024. The group has also reached new generations of artists and fans.

With this first name, the Visor Fest continues to move on its own territory and recover sounds that have led, in previous editions, to have featured names such as The Jesus & Mary Chain, Suede, Echo & The Bunnymen, James, Happy Mondays or The Flaming Lips.

So now you know, if you want a different festival in which the classic sounds of pop, post-punk and shoegaze intertwine to form the most interesting posters, Get your subscription for the Visor Fest at this same link. And remember, it will take place in the Valencia North Marina Site on September 25 and 26, 2026.
