Rick Buckler of The Jam dies at age 69

Rick Buckler, drummer of the British New Wave Band and Bruce Fxton.

Buckler, in the center of the photo, has died in Woking, England, his birthplace, “after a brief illness, with his family by his side.”

Buckler formed The Jam with Weller and Foxton, his co -workers, in the early 70s Musical and aesthetic codes of the 50 and 60. The Jam published, in total, five albums, between 1977 and 1982.

The Jam brought up to four singles to the number 1 of the United Kingdom singles, these are, ‘Going Underground’, ‘Start!’, ‘Town Calleed Malice’ and ‘Beat Surrender’. A number 1 of albums with ‘The Gift’, their final album were also marked.
