RFTW: ZAYN, Ani DiFranco, Porches…

Today, May 17, two highly anticipated albums are released: those of Beth Gibbons, Album of the Week in these pages, and Billie Eilish, of which we already share a first review. This week Childish Gambino's album also came out.

New works by ZAYN, Cage the Elephant, Ani DiFranco, Of Montreal, Bright Light Bright Light, Galantis and Shellac are also on sale today, the latter posthumous to the unexpected death of Steve Albini. 'Stop Making Sense', the tribute album to Talking Heads, with songs covered by Miley Cyrus, Lorde and Paramore, is also available.

Among the featured singles of the day are the new ones by Omar Apollo (who has just announced an album), Kokoshca or the two-minute song by Nathy Peluso, in addition to the new potential hit by Bebe Rexha co-written by Aluna Francis.

And, among the house recommendations, the new Porches, Gara Durán, Lido Pimienta, Empire of the Sun, Paula Cendejas, TR/ST, Perdón con Aiko elgrupo, Milton Nascimiento and Esperanza Spalding, Tindersticks, Irenegarry, Peggy Gou or Cassandra Jenkins.
