RFTW: Panda Bear & Sonic Boom, Rolling Stones, Jack White, Future…

Today, July 10, new albums by The Rolling Stones, Jack White, Baby Rose, Future, The Temper Trap and Finn Wolfhard (yes, the ‘Stranger Things’ actor) are released, in addition to Kelela’s new work, which we already reviewed on the cover. The Panda Bear and Sonic Boom album, which will not be uploaded to streaming, also comes out today. As for releases in EP format, we have news from Frost Children, LUCYCALYS and Bon Calso.

The song that opens the playlist is ‘The Bridge’, the duet by Kelela and PinkPantheress. Among the notable novelties of the day we also find ‘Tiramisú’ by Vicco; Jungle’s new single; or the unexpected collaboration between Benny Blanco and bb trickz. In addition, new songs arrive from Beyoncé (a discard) and from LUCYCALYS with Cristina Lora, which we also discussed on the cover.

Among the artists who have announced an album are Alabama Shakes – with their first album in 11 years -, the always amazing Gilla Band and of course U2, who are advancing ‘Street of Dreams’. There are also interesting news from Jazmin Bean, Role Model, Nothing But Thieves, our recommended 1111, Cage the Elephant, Coco Jones, Interpol, Pablo Alborán or Arde Bogotá, who have released a single after appearing by surprise at Mad Cool.

We also have a handful of notable collaborations on our hands, such as those of The Linda Lindas with Hayley Williams, Nia Archives with Jorja Smith, ANOTR with Emily Warren, Love of Lesbian with Judit Neddermann or Shania Twain with Josh Homme. Although, to collaborate, the supergroup that Devendra Banhart, Gyan Riley and Noah Georgeson have formed under the name of HUG: Abrazo.

Alone, we must highlight the new songs by Confidence Man, Villano Antillano, Malcolm Todd, Juan Anselmo, Dan Croll or Joel Corry. If you like pop, don’t miss Mae Muller’s new single; If R&B is your thing, pay attention to the new Masego.
