RFTW: Luna Ki, Sleater-Kinney, Beny Jr, Pignoise…

Very few artists dare to release an album on January 5th. Only the British band SPRINTS is among the brave. Before New Year’s Eve, a new album by rapper Beny Jr. was also uploaded to streaming platforms, which contains collaborations with Fakeguido and Steve Lean.

Luna Ki has started January by publishing ‘January’. Although today’s big single release is ‘Just Another Rainbow’, the new joint single from Liam Gallagher and John Squire. Curiously, these days a model of Noel Gallagher has reached platforms.

Some new additions to the “Ready for the Weekend” playlist are the new singles from Youth Lagoon, Tanxugueiras with Valeria Castro, The Lemon Twigs or the BBC Sound of 2024 winners, The Last Dinner Party. Ladilla Rusa publish a song called ‘Mother, how disgusting you are’.

In addition, AG Cook begins 2024 delivering a 9-minute production and Sleater-Kinney continue advancing their album. Jhene Aikó, Albany and Pignoise also present new features in these first days of January.

Finally, DJ Sabrina the Teenage DJ’s new single is not available on Spotify, but is available on other platforms. We remind you that the London duo signs the Album of the Week, at the beginning of the year, with ‘Destiny’.
