RFTW: Kali Uchis, beabadoobee, Leon Bridges…

Today, August 9th, new albums by beabadoobee, Chlöe, J Balvin, King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard, Milton Nascimento & Esperanza Spalding, Fucked Up and Ryuichi Sakamoto’s ‘Opus’ are released. In addition, Kali Uchis is releasing an expanded edition of ‘Orquídeas’.

The Killers open the playlist with ‘Bright Lights’, a new single that brings together the four original members of the band, and which continues to be influenced by the sound of Bruce Springsteen so present in their latest works.

Among the singles of the day, we must also mention the new ones from Katy Perry and Addison Rae, who signs the Song Of The Day. In addition, Natalia Lacunza publishes two new songs and Aitana sings with Sam Smith a new version of ‘Like I Can’, Smith’s single from 2014.

New albums are coming from Leon Bridges, Kelly Lee Owens, Fontaines DC, Molchat Doma, Shawn Mendes and Porches. The return of Rex Orange County is also a reality, as is that of Niva Dinova, who are back after 16 years.

“Ready for the Weekend” also includes new singles from Clean Bandit featuring Anne-Marie, The Smile, Paula Koops, Half Waif, Morad, The Dare, FINNEAS, Beny Jr, Jayda G, Asake featuring Travis Scott, Oso Oso, Cecile Believe, etc.
