RFTW: Dua Lipa, Lauren Mayberry, The Horrors, Maria Arnal…

Today is not a holiday outside of Spain, where we celebrate the much-used Constitution of 1978, so significant albums are published. Among them, those by Lauren Mayberry, Lucinda Williams, White Denim, Rosé and a live performance by Dua Lipa. We offer you a little piece of all of them in our playlist of news every Friday, Ready for the Weekend.

There are also great single releases, with new songs by Bad Bunny, Paloma Mami, Sky Ferreira, Sharon Van Etten, Loreen, Villagers, The Horrors, Skepta… As you can see, there is a little bit of everything.

Spain is not far behind and also presents new bets from Amaral, Abraham Mateo, Jul with Bad Gyal, Carlos Ares, or Maria Arnal, who presents a ‘Bus’ that is reminiscent of Björk’s ‘Medúlla’. Rels B releases ballad with J Abecia. Among the curiosities, the collaboration of Califato 3/4 with Ángeles Toledano. A few days ago, Chill Chicos’ new album was released.
