RFTW: Charli xcx, Danny L. Harle with Dua Lipa, Hemlocke Springs…

Today, February 13, the harvest of musical news leaves a long-awaited comeback, that of Lykke Li, who presents a new album, and another that had already been announced, but we can finally taste: the duet of CA7RIEL and Paco Amoroso and Sting, which sounds almost nothing like ‘Roxanne’.

Today’s stack of new albums includes important releases from Charli xcx, Danny L. Harle (who brings collaboration with Dua Lipa) or Jill Scott, as well as other works we were really looking forward to hearing from Hemlocke Springs (pictured) or Ven’nus.

One of the discoveries of recent weeks, Montedapena, releases a single, as well as Bebe Rexha, Bleachers, MUNA, James Blake and Bad Gyal, who present their next works, or BLAYA, who continues to advance their EP. Julieta Venegas and Natalia Lafourcade join in a duet.

The not inconsiderable duo of Anna Calvi and Iggy Pop are joined by other notable international releases such as those by Victoria Monét, Fcukers, Justine Skye, Kevin Morby, Brigitte Calls Me Baby, Waterbaby or Damon Albarn’s collaboration with Kae Tempest and Grian Chatten from Fontaines DC, which also brings together Johnny Marr and Dave Okumu for a charity album.

National or Spanish-speaking pop is also generous in interesting releases by Amor Butano, Vicente Calderón, marquitos, El diablo de Shanghai, Chanel (with an amapiano song that should be titled ‘Tyla’), Lucas Jesús, Jorge Drexler, Cora Yako, Cuco… and a cumbiera adaptation of ‘Dancing Queen’ by Thalía: “You can dance, a baile.” Happy weekend!
