RFTW: Anna von Hausswolff, Oklou, Júlia Colom…

Today, October 31, is Halloween and two perfect albums are coming out for the season, those by Florence + the Machine and Anna von Hausswolff (which includes a collaboration with Ethel Cain). In addition, new long works by The New Raemon, Cat Burns, Júlia Colom and Sevdaliza are on sale, and the latest albums by Oklou and Tyler, the Creator are reissued.

Another of the week’s notable long releases is the debut of Snocaps, the supergroup formed by Waxahatchee and her sister, Allison Crutchfield, MJ Lenderman and Brad Cook.

Rosalía has released the song of the week, ‘Berghain’ alongside Björk and Yves Tumor. Today, Friday, two of her main contemporaries, Amaia and Maria Arnal, also present new material.

National pop leaves behind interesting releases by Marinita Precaria, Vangoura, Syd de Palma, Repion, Carlos Gris, Ferran Palau, Parquesvr, Soraya, ANADIE, Pimp Flaco… and a new collaboration by BB trickz, now with ZECCA and Emilia. On the other hand, Pastora celebrates 25 years of career with Santi Balmes, with whom they relaunch ‘Cósmica’.

As for international music, there are new singles from Magdalena Bay, flowerovlove, Oneohtrix Point Never, Melody’s Echo Chamber, Masego, Orville Peck, Disco Lines, Inhaler, The Weather Station… Among those who have announced a new album this week, Geologist by Animal Collective.
