King Don Dogproject Lluisen Capafons (Gazella)has released his first EP “Castle Mansion”, after publishing three previews.
After previews like “I saw you cry”, “Perrita” or “Grr”, the artist has presented his first EP, “Castle Mansion“, a set of nine songs that cross alternative rock, noise, pop and urban. Produced by Pablo Iglesias (Opium of the Monkey) together with the artist himself, the work revolves around the family, since it has been recorded in his family home, where the musician has the recording studio.
The sound of the project draws on references such as Dean Blunt, Yung Beef, Nirvana, Alex G, The Velvet Underground either I have ittransforming these influences towards its own identity that oscillates between the alternative, the noisy and the urban. In this way, he detaches himself from the shoegaze and dream pop of the early 90s that has characterized his work with Gazelle. A band that has been characterized by fusing refined electronic melodies with a variety of eclectic styles.
