Repression have just been cited by Viva Sweden as one of their favorite bands in an interview with Jenesaispop.
The group formed by Marina and Teresa Iñesta is precisely current for several reasons. After hanging the Sold-Out poster this February in cities such as Madrid and Valencia, they continue a tour that is taking these weeks through Almería, Murcia, L’Hospitalet de Llobregat, Boiro, Oviedo, Zaragoza, Huesca or Bilbao. All the details, in your linkTree.
In addition, Repion has renovated one of the songs extracted from his EP last year, ‘among all we fix it’, in the company of Rufus T. Firefly. This is ‘Friday’, which began in a very characteristic way (“returning home alone is not fun / I do not want to do dinner / because you are no longer to do it with me”), and talked about loneliness very poetically (“and still knows my mouth / the last thing I said”). Clearly, Rufus T Firefly have extracted the pop-rock background from the original recording to bring it to its most synthetic and dreamlike terrain. More ‘drive’.
It will not be your last collaboration because Repion plan to publish on April 11 both in digital and vinyl the four topics of the EP last year with friends artists. The next EP -which will also be called ‘among all we fix it– will include the 4 themes published in 2024 on face A and on face B revised with Shego, Tulsa, Cora Yako and of course Rufus T Firefly.
In turn, Rufus T. Firefly have also surprised their fans announcing that this year they will take album. In the teaser hanging on Instagram they announce as date “April 2025”. It will be its first length since ‘Largo Tour’, which came out on a date as distant as 2021. We leave you with the teaser and with the way they have reviewed repression.
