“Reflexes”, second preview of Hola Chica’s new work

After a first title preview “Berlin”, Hello Girl They have released “Reflejos”, the second song that serves as a preview of what will be their next work.

“Reflections” is “a reflection made to rhythm with honest and direct lyrics. It is an introspective journey that encourages us to break with monotony and accept and embrace who we really are. We wanted ‘Reflections’ to be a kind of internal dialogue or debate. The song talks about that feeling of being stuck in a routine while time passes. It is an invitation to confront difficult moments, to look in the mirror and allow ourselves to be banal, put ourselves as a priority, and accept things as they are.

The song deals with universal themes such as anxiety, acceptance of the past and the struggle to overcome our fears. Those from Barcelona reinforce their sound identity with a song in Spanish that marks the current moment of the group that moves between indie pop and synth pop, without ever abandoning its essence.

“What if I don’t come tomorrow? What if I make up an excuse? I’ll look in the mirrors And I will go down to hell”, this fragment captures the essence of “Reflections”, showing that feeling of wanting to escape from responsibilities and face oneself.
