And this year the contest has exceeded 200 proposals presented, setting a participation record that confirms its consolidation as one of the main showcases for emerging Andalusian music. Of this extensive map of projects, only three have managed to make their way to a final that promises intensity, character and sonic diversity.

From Utrera it will arrive Musketa trio that channels the intensity of the most incandescent rock, moving between hard rock, punk and alternative with a direct and uncompromising proposal. Organized by the Youth Delegation of the Marchena City Council, the Martian Sound thus reaffirms itself as one of the longest-running contests on the Andalusian circuit, keeping intact its vocation to promote artists without a record contract and its role as a radar for new proposals.

In this edition, the contest will distribute 3,000 euros in prizes, but beyond the economic, the event of the March 28 at the Pepe Marchena Auditorium will once again become a live photograph of the present and future of the Andalusian scene. Three projects, three ways of understanding the now and a scenario where everything can burn.
