RAYE climbs to UK No. 1 with ‘Where is My Husband!’

The success of ‘Where is My Husband!’ by RAYE was immediate upon its release. Not only in the United Kingdom, but also on a global scale, its streaming has been excellent and only recently has the song set an all-time high on Spotify’s global chart, climbing to fifth place. It has more than 324 million views on Spotify alone, in three months.

However, ‘Where is My Husband!’ It took 15 weeks to reach number 1 singles in the United Kingdom. What has prevented it? Above all, Taylor Swift, who has monopolized the leadership in the United Kingdom for weeks with ‘The Fate of Ophelia’. Then Christmas arrived, and the Christmas classics moved ‘Where is My Husband’ down to 48th place.

It was foreseeable that, once the Christmas fever had passed, RAYE’s song would regain positions in the British ranking. However, this Friday ‘Where is My Husband!’ It does not equal its peak in the UK top 2, but rather surpasses it, rising to first position. They say that the song has a Christmas touch. Could that have had anything to do with it?

Interestingly, it’s not the first time RAYE has scored a number 1 in the UK right after the holidays. This is exactly what happened with ‘Escapism.’ in 2023. The difference is that that one was a number 1 shared with its guest artist, rapper 070 Shake, while ‘Where is My Husband!’ is a solo number 1, the first of Rachel Keen’s career, as strange as it may seem.

In the United Kingdom ‘Where is My Husband!’ It is already a Platinum Record, but the success of the song is universal, since the song has entered lists all over the world. Among its best positions, the song has reached number 2 in Ireland, 3 in Germany, 5 in Australia and 6 in Sweden. In the United States it has reached position 37, for now. In Spain its best position has been number 54.

‘Where is My Husband!’ It has been one of the best songs of 2025, both for the JENESAISPOP editorial staff and for the readers. We remind you that RAYE’s 2026 tour passes through Spain in a few months: the date is February 13 at the Palau Sant Jordi in Barcelona.
