Radiohead Colin Greenwood says there is no “new material”

Radiohead have been prepared to carry out their first concerts since 2018. In previous tours, the British band has accustomed to throwing an album before throwing themselves to the road. Otherwise, they were responsible for showing unpublished material for a future album. Colin Greenwood takes us out of doubt in the context of its 2025 tour, which will pass through Madrid this November.

In an interview in the Podcast of Adam Buxton, Radiohead’s bassist has given details about the next concerts of the band, especially with what has to do with the setlist. Greenwood describes it as a “mixture”: “I think we have reduced it to 70 songs, more or less. My brother and I are not in the Setlist committee, because we are too undecided, ”he said.

This does not mean that the concerts will last 5 hours, but the songs they have been rehearsing and among which they will have to choose on each date. As for the doubts of new material, Greenwood does not close the door at all: «I think it will be the first time we do concerts without having new material to play as ‘Work in Progress’, but you never know. Something could come out, or not, ”concludes Greenwood.
