The tireless British band Maximo Park shares his new single “Quiz Show Clue”, the latest one that serves to introduce his next work to be released on September 27.
“Stream Of Life” will be the next work by the British Maxïmo Park. It will be released on September 27th through the Lower Third record label and will include songs such as the already known “Your Own Worst Enemy” and “The End Can Be As Good As The Start”, both samples of the different faces of the group, which in turn remains firm to its main hallmarks.
Now, rounding out the list of tracks is “Quiz Show Clue,” a song that the band’s vocalist, Paul Smith, defines as: “a wry look at being left out or ignored by society. It reflects my background in a working-class art school, but I’m sure everyone feels like a nobody at some point.”
In September, there will be four presentations of “Stream Of Life” in collaboration with independent record stores. The dates will be 22 September (Newcastle; with Reflex Records), Leeds (23 September, with Crash Records), Nottingham (24 September, with Rough Trade) and London (26 September, with Banquet Records).
As for the tour of the new album, which will start in October, most of the British dates are already sold out (sold out in Edinburgh, Manchester, Norwich, London, Bristol, Sheffield and Newcastle), as well as in Hamburg. In Zurich, the venue has been expanded to include a larger venue. There are currently no Spanish dates for this presentation tour.
