‘Querer’, ‘Celeste’ and ‘Casa en llamas’ are among the main series and films that won the Feroz Awards, which were awarded tonight in Pontevedra, at a gala presented by La Dani and attended by the main nominees, including Pedro Almodóvar.
Almodóvar has won the award for Best Director for ‘The Room Next Door’. Furthermore, he starred in one of the anecdotes of the night when he elegantly avoided the proposal that a journalist made to him about directing a series about Belén Esteban. “In the next two years I am busy,” he responded.
The Feroz’s track record has been very distributed and, in addition to highlighting ‘Querer’ as Best Drama Series, ‘Celeste’ as Best Comedy Series, ‘Salve María’ as Best Drama Film, and ‘Casa en llamas’ as Best comedy, has particularly distinguished the performances of Nagore Aranburu in ‘Querer’, Oriol Pla in ‘Yo, adicto’, Clara Segura in ‘El 47’, Pol López in ‘See you in another life’ or Eduard Fernández in ‘Marco’.
The actress Emma Vilarasau, collecting her award for ‘Casa en llamas’, has taken advantage of the victory to send a message to Judge Carretero for his treatment of the actress Elisa Mouliáa during the trial for sexual assault of Íñigo Errejón: «When one makes a painful “acting eats it and shuts it up” were his words.
The Feroz de Honor has gone to Jaime Chávarri, director of ‘El disenchantment’ (1976), ‘Bicycles are for the summer’ (1983) or ‘The things of wanting’ (1989), and artistic director of Víctor Erice in ‘The spirit of the hive’ (1973) and Carlos Saura in ‘Ana and the wolves’ (1973).
