The thirty-first edition of the Southern PyreneesInternational Festival of Cultures, not only has dates, but now it already has a large first group of confirmations.
The South Pyrenees will take place on the floating stage of Lanuza (Huesca) between July 4 and 28, a privileged natural space that the festival's followers appreciate and that practically becomes another protagonist of the event. An event that, by the way, is committed to sustainability to maintain the location as it deserves.
But let's go to the names that will participate. As far as international names are concerned we will find Loreena McKennitt, Mon Laferte, Lila Downs, Mulatu Astatke, Rawayana, Maro, Grupo Niche, La Lulu, Ricky Martin either Meutewhile among the Spanish artists who have revealed themselves we can mention Old Morla, Baiuca, The Plazuela, Iseo & Dodosound, Sara Baras, Carmen Linares, Marilia, Silvia Perez Cruz either Rodrigo Cuevas, among others. That is, we can enjoy the most diverse sounds, from folk to pop, including afrobeat, electronic, flamenco, reggae, pop and others.
And it is worth remembering that Pirineos Sur is one of the longest-running festivals in our territory, with more than thirty years of experience. Also that the anti-theater in which it is held has a limited capacity (4,900 people) to comfortably accommodate the audience and allow a wide view of the performances.
Tickets will be available on the festival website www.pirineos-sur.es starting tomorrow at 10 a.m., in the case of concerts, and in the case of buses, starting May 14.
