Pulp share the first preview of their live album

The return of pulp Keep adding chapters. Now his current legacy is expanded with a live album and a film.

After publishing “More”their first studio album in more than two decades, and a three-song EP last March, the British band have announced the release of a movie and a new live album which will collect some of the highlights of their recent tour.

Under the title “Pulp: What Do You Do For An Encore”the film covers the concerts that the group led by Jarvis Cocker offered for two nights at the O2 Arena in London. Directed by Garth Jennings, long-time collaborator of the group and responsible for video clips such as “Help The Aged” or “A Little Soul”, you will see Cocker himself as narrator, in a 90-minute work that will include both the 20-song repertoire performed by the band, as well as the mix of unreleased archive material.

Along with the film it will also see the light “LIVE!”a new live album recorded during this same tour. As a first preview, Pulp has already shared live performances of “Disco 2000” and “A Sunset.”

The album will be released next August 28 via Rough Tradewhile the film will reach the platform MUBI this fall.
