That of Professor Angel Dust and that of a person who has gone through unimaginable stages, cities and situations when he began his career in the world of music.

“Ángel has not had a conventional life. After reading Thus Spoke Zarathustra as a young man, he decided that religion was not his thing and immersed himself fully in music and art. When he moved to Toronto, he soon immersed himself in the hedonistic and narcotic nights of its modern nightclubs and gradually developed his love for club culture. One of those crazy evenings ended in New York, dancing at the Paradise Garage with the legendary Larry Levan behind the decks. He played in various obscure groups of post-punk influence such as Jesus and the Mutants or Fandango, who have barely left a sound record, although also in Bambi, who recorded an album, and in On, who managed to produce an album with Warner Sweden sponsored by Malcolm McLaren himself, the manager of the Sex Pistols. But it was as a producer and behind the Technics of the Barcelona tracks under the alias of Professor Angel Dust where he made a name for himself and established himself as one of the most important DJs. renowned of the nineties, officiating in the main booths of Barcelona and in some of the most select in Europe, from where he taught his funk and broken rhythms. Success came with his brilliant version of Santana’s “Oye como va”, which dragged him to the mainstream – which he renounced – and he shone alongside his brother Diego Delippo at the Bongo Lounge nights at La Paloma, at the beginning of the new century. “Everything fell apart suddenly when he found himself immersed in a sinister plot that led him to spend almost five years in prison in some of the most inhospitable prisons in Panama. Despite everything, he knew how to reinvent himself behind bars and renovated an old recording studio, where he began to work with inmates and record music again.
