Primavera Sound 2025 has already revealed its line-up of artists, with three of the most important popstars of the moment topping the list, all three united by their leap to the mainstream in 2024: Charli XCX, Chappell Roan and Sabrina Carpenter. The festival will celebrate its main days from June 5 to 7 at Parc del Fòrum. JENESAISPOP is once again an official collaborator.
The poster reveals other notable confirmations. The return of TV On the Radio has been one of the musical news of the last month, and Primavera Sound will be a witness. Cat Power will bring its show based on Bob Dylan’s songbook to the Forum. La Casa Azul will play again in Barcelona after its presentation next November at the Palau Sant Jordi, sold out for months. HAIM, who have not released an album for almost five years, will return to the festival, as well as FKA twigs -cancelled last year- or the now classics LCD Soundsystem -who will present a new album- and Beach House. Among the curiosities, the return of the Salem witch-house icons.
Additionally, Jamie xx, Fontaines DC, Floating Points, Magdalena Bay, Alan Sparhawk (of Low), Clairo and The Dare will present their excellent 2024 albums; and it will also be the time to see IDLES, Turnstile, Wet Leg, Sturgill Simpson, ANOHNI and the Johnsons, Stereolab, Black Country, New Road, Denzel Curry, Aminé, Spiritualized, Amaia, beabadoobee or Parcels in action.
The line-up, of course, continues to be tremendously transversal and ranges from the pop of Judeline – who will finally present her full-length debut – to the indie of Los Campesinos! passing through the delicatessen of Kali Malone or the flamenco of the breakout star Lela Soto, until there are 147 artists.
Now that the line-up has been revealed, you can register on the Primavera Sound website to opt for the Fan Sale of season tickets, which will be available starting October 28 at 11:00 a.m. and will last 24 hours. The general sale will begin on October 29 at 11:00 a.m. and the payment option in 6 installments will be available both in the Fan Sale and in the general sale through Kaboodle.
The parallel programming for Primavera a la Ciutat will soon be revealed, which will once again move the musical activity to different halls and spaces in Barcelona. In addition, the Primavera Pro conference and showcase program, the meeting point for professionals in the Primavera Sound industry, will celebrate its 16th edition at the CCCB between June 4 and 7.
