Pretenders and Patti Smith will kick off Les Nits de Barcelona, the festival that will bring great artists during the month of July to Palau de Pedralbes.
The musical event returns to the Palau like every summer. This time, Pretenders will open with a great concert on the first night of the festival, next July 1. The British will present “Rentless” (23), his last work. They will also review songs from their extensive discography of albums such as “Alone”(16) or “Hate For Sale” (twenty).
Another of those in charge of opening the festival will be Patti Smith along with his quartet. The artist will tour with her quartet some of the most important European stages, and Les Nits de Barcelona could not be missed. The composer of “Because The Night”, responsible for great historical albums and author of several obligatory books will perform next July 5.
The festival will also feature performances by artists such as Rumors Of Fleetwood Mac, Luz Casal, Goat Soup, Vanesa Martín, Stool, Mika, Diana Krall, Simple Minds, Mikel Izal and Passenger.
