After a first double single, the people from Malaga Mount Ventura release “Volverte a ver”, another preview of their imminent debut, “In Time of Nothing“, planned for March 2026.
“Volverte a ver” is a direct download of distorted guitars and contained emotion, which reflects the tension of an expected reunion, with echoes of bands like Neutral Milk Hotel either The Planets. A song that anticipates the passionate and eclectic nature of the album to come. Additionally, the song comes with a music video directed by César Tezeta.
The album “In Time of Nothing” is emerging as a work that moves between distortion, strings, electronics, folklore and metals, with influences as diverse as The Velvet Underground, The Magnetic Fields, Bambino or Surfin’ Bugs.
David and Ernest form Mount Venturaand after several EPs—among them the acclaimed “Patmos”, chosen best EP of 2020 by the South edition of MondoSonoro—, the band is completed with Saray (Become Lapp) and Parakeet and Juan (Arista Fiera), giving shape to a new stage of greater sonic ambition.
