Premiere: Fuet! take hardcore back to the fifties with “Becoming A Ghost”

We premiere the new video clip of the hardcore band from Madrid Fuet! In this fun black and white video clip we are taken to a fictional television show from the 1950s, emulating the American The Ed Sullivan Show that was on the air between 1941 and 1971.

Halfway between the sound of American hardcore and the look of European bands, Fuet! are a band that seeks to create their own personal space within the alternative scene, something they achieve with their powerful and heavy guitars combined with lyrics that deal with very current issues from a positive perspective.

Today they present with us “Becoming A Ghost”, a piece in which the quintet talks to us about accepting being “ghosted” by a loved one. About understanding the reactions of the people around us and trying to put ourselves in their shoes. It is a song that the group finished writing shortly before being one of the winning groups of the Mad Cool Talent contest, which led them to perform at the Madrid festival.

After releasing a three-song EP under the band’s name in 2020, in recent months they have shared new material with songs such as “Kitkat” or “Green Lights”. As for the video clip, it was directed by Pace & Balthazarin addition to having Veronica of Balthazar in makeup, Lara by Diego Pantin in 3D stage design and with the collaboration of Borja “Big D” González, Francisco de Vitoria University, Orchestra and Choir of the Community of Madrid.
