Music will return to Villarias Street in Bilbao on April 20 to celebrate Independent Record Store Day.
Next Saturday, April 20, a new edition of Record Store Day will once again be celebrated around the world, the day of independent record stores, a special date on which these worthy establishments celebrate, together with their customers and musicians, the art of music. As usual, a large number of exclusive albums are released for the occasion in various formats, in many cases, special editions, reissues or unreleased material (see full list here).
In our territory (Euskadi) the Bloody Mary (Irun), Long Play (Barakaldo), Old Tower Stuff, Vinylora and Discolaser (Vitoria-Gasteiz) and Power Records (Bilbao) stores are affiliated. In the case of Power Records, as usual (except for the two years corresponding to the pandemic and last year, when the city council did not grant authorization – news here -), organizes a great day full of music for all audiences and from the morning you can enjoy of two DJ sessions and a total of five concerts outside the venue located on Villarías street (Bilbao). In the morning the music will be provided by Juanjo Ibarra and Santi Delgado as musical selectors, while in the afternoon there will be live performances with Laura Sam & Juan Escribano, Pleasure James, Monday Potions, Homewreckers and Moonshakersthe latter surrounded by several friends at the microphone due to the absence of their vocalist Inge.
