Amaral, The Killer Swing, Xoel López and Rodrigo Cuevas head MUWI La Rioja Music Fest that will take place in Logroño from August 29 to September 1.

We already know the distribution by day of the artists who will participate in the 8th edition of the MUWI La Rioja Music Fest. The event, recognized in the latest international Iberian Festival Awards in the category of Best National Cultural Programming 2024, will bring together more than thirty artists who will fill the different MUWI locations in Logroño, from the history surrounding the Muralla del Revellín to the other side of the Ebro River in the centuries-old Franco-Spanish Wineries or the famous and busy Calle Laurel.

The four days full of music will start on Thursday, August 29 with the “killer duo” Coyote Girl and Tornado Boythe Madrid band Sharkthe potters A thousand Cordobasand as a closing, the DJs Kurluzzz and Rezz Baller.

Friday’s event will be headed by The Killer Swing, who are saying goodbye after more than twenty years of experience. Along with the people from Pamplona will be the Galician artist Xoel Lopezthe Andalusian Derby Motoreta’s Burrito Kachimbathe young man Ghouldajboyand the DJs Edu Anmor, Sweet Drinkz, Panoramis and Falefou.

Saturday, August 31, the day with the most artists, is headed by Amaral with its powerful and unmatched live performance; the folkloric agitator Rodrigo Cuevas, National Prize for Current Music 2024; the “techno-troubadour” Joe Twilightpop in Basque Bulegoand the Riojan rockabilly of The Vile Scoundrel. In addition, these great artists will be joined by up to six deejays in different stages and locations: David Van Bylen, Javi Retrovisor, Lazy Sunday, Lugg, Ipu Djand Mato. One more Saturday, muwiers will be able to enjoy VerMUWI with live music and the best gastronomy on Calle Laurel.

The most anticipated day for families and children is Sunday. The festival ends with a day that brings together groups of Riojans and visitors in an explosion of party and culture. The MUWI organization has scheduled activities, concerts and artists for Sunday, September 1, that will provide enjoyment in a more familiar environment. The many activities on Sunday will be told soon, today only the musical performances are advanced. One of the funniest bands on the national scene returns to MUWI: smile. There will also be the energy of Tiger Musselsthe Argentine educator and musician upside down fishthe Rioja band The Zigalasand like every year, the expected Amadeus MUWI Band. This holiday will be accompanied by the best sessions of Javi Vega, Paola Feregrintoday Guatecon Dj.

The sale of day tickets has started with a price, including expenses, of €45 for the concerts on Friday, August 30 and Saturday, August 31, and €12 for Sunday, September 1. The three-day pass costs €73, expenses included (available in the following link).
