Playlist It is the new documentary cinema cycle about music in The house on (Madrid). It starts this Wednesday with the pass of “S/he is Still Her/E. The Official Genesis P-Orridge Documentary”focused on the figure of the missing musician and activist queer.
Playlist is a new current musical documentary film that recovers some of the great recent documentaries. Of the five that will be part of this cycle, four are premiere in Madrid. That must be added that MARIA LOSIERdirector of “PEACHES GOES BANANAS”will visit Madrid to present your movie and to give a master class.
The cycle – comprehensive by Pela del Alamo– It will be celebrated As of Wednesday, February 12. The films we can see are the following: “S/he is Still Her/E. The Official Genesis P-Orridge Documentary” (David Charles Rodrigues2024), focused on the life of P-Orridge Genesisavant -garde and activist musician queer which was part of the referentials Throbbing Gristle and Psychic-TV (February 12); “Soundtrack to a Coup d’Atat” (Johan Grimonprez, 2024), which tells us about the cold war, jazz, and many other issues that converge in this portrait of a certain twentieth century (February 19); “Omar and Cedric. If This Ever Gets Weird” (Nicolas Jack Davies2024), documentary that revolves around the figures of Omar Rodríguez-López and Cedric Bixler-Zavalamembers of At the drive-in and The Mars Volta (February 26); “Pavements” (Alex Ross Perry2024), which tells us about Pavement, One of the great indie rock formations of the nineties (March 5) and “PEACHES GOES BANANAS” (Marie the Losier2024), documentary about the friendship between Marie the Losier and PEACHESwhich will be presented with a master class by the director herself.
