Playboi Carti gets first number 1 of his career in the British lists thanks to the impact of ‘Music’, unseating ‘Mayhem’ by Lady Gaga. It is expected that the American rapper also debuts in the first position of the Billboard 200, overcoming the sales of the Gaga album in his first week.
According to Hits Daily Double, Carti will debut with a sum of more than 300,000 units in its first week, while ‘Mayhem’ obtained 219,000 in the same period of time. Clearly, it would be the greatest commercial achievement in the 29 -year -old rapper career.
In terms of singles, however, Carti has only placed two in the Top 10 of the British lists: the chaotic ‘Evil J0rdan’ (#7) and the “Radio Friendly” ‘rather lie’ (#10) with The Weeknd. On the other hand, ‘Toxic’, with the British Skepta, sneaks into the number 21 of Top 40.
This list is now headed by ‘Ordinary’ by Alex Warren. In second position, Chappell Roan gets another success with his last single, La Country ‘The Giver’. This is the first American song to debut within the Top 10.
