Placebo have released a new version of “Bruise Pristine”, the first preview of their next album “Placebo Re:Created”scheduled for June.
The band has released a new version of their hit single “Bruise Pristine”, the first track from their upcoming album, “Placebo Re:Created“, which will go on sale on June 19, 2026 through Elevator Lady Ltd. Remastered by the band from the original tapes, this new version transforms the song into something more powerful and original.
Speaking about their upcoming album, Placebo explain: “We consider this album an extended version. We haven’t recreated it from scratch. We went back to the original master tapes and recovered 30 years of playing these songs live. This project was about finishing the album, modernizing it sonically for the 21st century, without losing the integrity or spirit of the original. It’s not about improving it, there’s nothing wrong with that, but completing it.”
On the other hand, the band will embark on a UK and European tour to celebrate three decades of career in which they will perform again the hits from their albums “Placebo” and “Without You I’m Nothing“The tour will start in Portugal, and will pass through Madrid (October 1, Movistar Arena) and Barcelona (October 3, Palau Sant Jordi). It will continue through Europe and end in the United Kingdom, where they will perform in front of hundreds of thousands of fans over thirty-six dates. You can get tickets at this same link.
