Pixies, Forty Year Career Tour

The American band Pixies He has announced the first dates of what will be a tour of his forty years of activity. At the moment concerts have been announced in the United Kingdom and some European cities.

Pixies were born as a group in 1986, becoming step by step in one of the most influential formations of indie rock thanks to songs with their own personality and a really independent attitude that made them an absolute reference for later generations and even for musicians of their own generation. They continue to publish albums, such as “The Night of Zombies Came”, which saw the light last year.

Now they announce that next year they will be on tour to celebrate their forty years of experience (1986-2026), although for now they have only released a few dates that we hope are extended in the coming weeks and include their passage through our country.

The tour will begin in the United Kingdom in May 2026, with stops in York (May 20), Dunfermline (May 21), Manchester (May 25), London (May 28, no less than in the Royal Albert Hall) and Limerick (May 31). Subsequently they will perform in Dublin on June 2 and there are no more dates until they act in Berlin on the 3rd of the same month, which is intuited that they will be part of the poster of various European festivals during those dates. In July they will be in Lepzig, Frankfurt, Milan, Rotterdam, Ensched and Heerlen,
