Pipiolas immerse themselves in eighties synth pop in “NaNaNa”

Pipiolas They are moving towards their second album with the release of “NaNaNa”, a synth-pop exercise in the purest eighties style

Pipiolas They are preparing for the imminent release of their second album. After posting “I’m a star!!!” Just two months ago, the second preview of this new album arrived. This is “NaNaNa”, a synth-pop exercise in the purest eighties style, with programmed basses, dark and mysterious verses, and ultra-hummable luminous choruses. A single that is full of that fresh and cheeky energy so characteristic of the duo.

The slightly macabre tone of the lyrics seeks to make this new single something like a cemetery paradox written for a daring first-timer. Madonna. “Emotions are as ephemeral as life, both end up in a cemetery. What was before is not now, and vice versa. Who knows.” That’s how they define it. It is a song that sounds like summers in December.

The next full length Pipiolas will be published this year, and will arrive after the publication of their debut album “There is no God”which saw the light in 2023 by the hand of Elephant Records. Adriana and Paula make up this duo, they have not stopped releasing music and touring nationally, filling venues and being part of different festivals since their career began in 2022. This year, Pipolas will present their second album for the first time live on May 8 in the Changó Room of Madrid.
