The Pioneer DJ DDJ-REV1, the latest controller launched by Pioneer DJ, has a slightly different appearance than the ones we had until now in this range. Let’s take a look!
As you can see, the layout of the controls is different, since it is a controller focused on battle and turntablism. The pitch sliders are horizontal on top of the jogs, making them larger for easier scratching, and the pads are located above the volume faders, like on the DJM-S battle mixers; all looking for comfort and speed in your sets.
The REV1 also has the “Lever FX” selector, with which you can make the effects much more dynamic as if it were a crossfader. In addition, you also have the Tracking Scratch function, which will help you make scratches at the right time.
As we told you, we have jogs large enough to be able to unleash our talent by scratching.
