Peter Gabriel re-releases “Back To Front. Live In London” on 4K Blu-Ray

The British Peter Gabriel re-releases his live performance of the album on 4K Ultra High Definition 4K Blu-Ray “SW” at the O2 in London.

Composer and producer Peter Gabriel, known for a very interesting solo career and for having led the progressive rock band Genesisannounces the Blu-Ray premiere of “Back To Front. Live In London”a feature film that captures the live performance over two nights in London of the album “SW” (86).

And in 2013 the singer gave two concerts at the O2 venue in London, which thanks to 4K ultra high definition technology can now be relived in “Back To Front. Live In London”. During the shows Gabriel reunited the members of his original band, David Rhodes Tony Levin, Manu Katché and David Sancious, with Jennie Abrahamson and Linnea Olssonwho accompanied him on his album tour in '86 and '87.

Additionally, as an additional bonus, the feature film includes “The Visual Approach” next to Robert Sinclair, an insight into the creation of the entire live show. Without a doubt, the album allows us to see the essence of “So” from another prism, offering unfinished, unreleased and reimagined songs. Without a doubt, both shows had a unique atmosphere that brought the most veteran fans back in time, thanks to careful lighting and innovative staging. It is worth highlighting the performance of “Daddy Long Legs”, an unreleased song at that time with which the show opened and which was an early version of the song “Playing For Time” that appears in his latest work.
