Pereza has been reunited on stage. The group, made up of Leiva and Rubén Pozo before their separation, has had a great moment for their followers at the end of Leiva’s tour at the WiZink Center, where he has invited his friend and also musical partner to sing together again.
The group dissolved more than a decade ago, in 2011, when Leiva and Pozo decided to explore new paths separately. However, the separation was amicable and both artists have remained close over time. So much so that, when Leiva proposed to Pozo to be the opening act at the last concerts of his ‘When you bite the lip’ tour, Pozo considered it “quite an honor.” And the first of those concerts took place last night at WiZink.
The group, which has left behind great anthems such as ‘Princesas’ and ‘Lady Madrid’, found the perfect opportunity yesterday to sing them again in front of 15,000 people. You will also have the opportunity to do so on December 25 and 26, when the last two concerts of the tour take place.
I still can’t get over Leiva’s concert last night. Without getting over seeing him and Rubén Pozo singing Pereza songs and without getting over that “Vis a Vis” so intimate and magical. What a great concert and how great you are, @Leiva_Oficial 🤘🏽❤️🩹 pic.twitter.com/jEBOptHksl
