“People Ruin Paintings”, third preview of Manic Street Preachers

Manic Street Preachers They publish “People Ruin Paintings”, the third preview of their new album “Critical Thinking”which will go on sale on January 31.

About the song, the band comments. “Musically the three of them playing telepathically, referencing over thirty years of playing together instinctively.” Classic Rock has classified it as “Stadium Jazz”.

The album celebrates the clash of contradictory ideas, with soul-searching lyrics and some of the most addictive melodies the band has ever recorded. The first two songs, ‘Decline &Fall’ and ‘Hiding in Plain Sight’, featuring Nicky Wire on vocals, hailed the return of the Welsh legends and quickly charted on British radio charts.

Tickets for the band’s British tour were sold out as soon as it came out, they have just returned from their first dates in 2025 in Japan and it has been confirmed that they will perform at several festivals in the summer, in Spain it will be in Azkena Rock Festival.
