In a world in which electroclash continues to disappear (The Dare, Svsto), its most punk version returns. Peaches releases a new song in announcement of a new tour, at least for now without a stop in Spain, and a new album. It will be their first album in a decade, since ‘Rub’ dates back to 2015.
Peaches’ new album is called ‘No Lube So Rude’, it will be released on a date to be determined in 2026 and is preceded by a 2-minute single titled ‘Not In Your Mouth None of Your Business’. It bears the house brand. The theme is once again “queer” and the album title is a reference to lubricant.
The artist says: «When the world is friction, lubricant is not a luxury. It’s a necessity. It’s the way to turn that friction into pleasure, into power, into pride. I want people to understand that they can still have a voice, no matter who they are or what the world says about them. “Now more than ever, when there are so many forces that just want you to give up and shut up, if this album can help you resist that, that’s what it’s for.” The video for ‘Not In Your Mouth None of Your Business’ is dedicated to the “trans and queer” community.
As for the North American tour, which will take place in February and March, it will be with Model/Actriz and Cortisa Star.
