Paula Vázquez will present the XVII Edition of the Min Awards, which will be held on April 29 at the Gran CaixaBank Theater Prince Pío in Madrid.
Vázquez, forever linked to the history of popular music in Spain for her role as fame presenter, to dance! -Coincided in the program with Mimi Doblas before it was transformed into Lola Indigo and, in addition, Vázquez introduced the first television performance of Lady Gaga in our country- the witness takes the previous presenters of the Min awards of media profile such as Lalachús (2024) or Samantha Hudson (2023).
Vázquez is also remembered for presenting Eurovision mission in 2007 and, this year, Benidorm Fest has led with Inés Hernand and Ruth Lorenzo.
“I am happy, really, to present the Min awards this year,” Vázquez said in a statement. «For me it is not just a prize gala, it is something very special. Because independent music – like many of the important things in life – does not always have an easy path, but an honest one. And that excites me.
The communicator continues: «I am very excited to be here for several reasons. The first: because I have grown up listening to music that did not go on the radio, which was in corners, which saved me without making noise. The second: because I deeply admire those who make art from intuition, from risk, from freedom and truth. And that today … it’s a gift. Thanks to the independent phonographic union for counting on me. And thanks to those who are on the other side creating, playing, producing, dreaming and defending that music does not need permission to exist. On the 29th we celebrate that. And I celebrate it with all my heart ».
The Min awards have also announced the artists and groups that will perform at the ceremony, including the last winners of the Noise Prize, Alcalá Norte. In addition, Carlos Ares, Figa Flawas, Hinds, Marlena, Maruja Limón and Metrika will be taken to the stage. Jenesaispop will be half a collaborator of the event for another year.
