The British Paul Weller has announced for next July “Find el Dorado”a new versions album in which it will review the songs that have been part of their musical background.
He July 25 will be available “Find el Dorado”the new album of Paul Weller. “These are songs that I have taken with me for many years. Over time they have taken different ways and now I feel that the time has come to share them,” said the singer and former member of formations such as The Jam either The Style Council. With the intention of showing its musical and emotional DNA, the British icon album will have versions of The Kinks, Richie Havens, Bobby Charles, Christy Moore, The Flying Burrito Brothers, Bee Gees either Duncan Browne.
Weller has recorded the album with a cast of collaborators that includes Noel Gallagher (Oasis), Robert Plant, Declan O’Rourke, Hannah Peel either Seckou Keita. At the moment you can hear the version of “Lawdy Rolla”, of the African Jazz group The guerrillas in which the saxophonist militated Manu Dibango.
