Patrick Watson sings about losing his voice in “Silence”

Patrick Watson returns to the present with “Silencio” –with the title in Spanish–, his new song that is inspired by silence and when he lost his voice.

Patrick Watson is a Canadian singer-songwriter, film composer and pianist who has decided to return to music with “Silencio”, a new piece that he performs with the French November UltraIt is a song composed by himself Watson with his bandmate Mishka Stein and November Ultrain which Watson sings about the sensations and thoughts that arose when he lost his voice for almost three months.

The song was recorded in Paris and shows the reality about silence: the one who speaks is always more vulnerable than the one who listens. To compose the song, Watson he asked November Ultra how he would feel if he lost his voice, and how afraid he is of losing it.
