Parquesvr’s great love song, on the most irreverent album

In their line, Parquesvr have published one of the most irreverent albums that we remember at the end of 2024. ‘If I bother you, you leave’ is its title and in it they distribute the same to Ayuso as to Pablo Iglesias, the same to the bassist of Izal – who they place “unemployed” – and to Viva Sweden.

“Long live Murcia, but never Sweden” is the war cry of ‘Alfredo’s’. ‘Que arda Madriz’ is the song that criticizes the right (“All the dead are Syrians or Russians or the grandparents, thanks to Díaz Ayuso”) as well as the left (“You left a long time ago / you cut your ponytail / No one sees you walking / alone in Vallecas anymore.

‘That you stop’ quotes Villarejo and Abascal; ‘A la luz de la luna’ criticizes that “there is not a fucking cinema on the entire Gran Vía”, and the album offers such illustrative titles as ‘Juancarlista’, where one of the phrases is “Those who govern us are all from ETA »; or ‘Shitty phrases’. However, the one we choose as Song of the Day is ‘Your name is a door to close’.

Not even fans of critical and satirical groups will be surprised that the best song on the album is about love. After so many efforts to attract the listener’s attention, Parquesvr reserve their best melody for what unites us all: the need for affection. “If I’m with you, nothing goes wrong / everything breaks when you leave” is one of the simple and dedicated phrases of this song that prefers to have an evocative melody and noise pop-type arrangements. Without a doubt, his most epic song.

‘Your name is a door to close’ was one of the advance singles from ‘Si annoying, os vais’ last year and cannot be missed on the Girando por Salas tour that Parquesvr has announced:
January 31, Niagara Room, Santander
February 8, Hell Dorado, Vitoria
March 14, La Cueva del Jazz Live, Zamora
March 28: Stereo RockAndRoll Bar, Logroño

April 25: Sala Terra, Castellón
