‘Parkour’ is Kokoshca’s new “shot”

This week Kokoshca’s new album is released. It’s called ‘The Youth’, it speaks with grace, irony and resignation – all at the same time – about the passing of the years, and has been presented by singles like ‘Mi barrio’, ‘Huella de ti’ or the title song itself.

The last track of what is now their eighth album, ‘It’s a luck’, is especially recommended for all its epic content, although for now we are going to select ‘Parkour’ as Song of the Day because of how catchy it is.

The focus track of ‘La Juventud’ for the playlists of the day it was released, is a new release that joins other classics of the group such as ‘I won’t return’, ‘La Fuerza’ or ‘I’m still waiting for you’. And the shooting is not, in this case, in a figurative sense: one of his most resounding phrases is “I’m not fine lately, I need a shot, I need a shot!”

‘Parkour’ is an urban rock song, with a touch of bubblegum in choruses and melody, especially when in its final bridge, it boasts of a life carried out against the current: “you go through life upside down and that’s how you find me , doing parkour / I’m always doing parkour. Earlier, the refrain had also boasted of not having chosen “the straightest path” and of not having succumbed to the pressures of “capitalism.”

Kokoshca perform this October 11 in León and on October 12 in Oviedo. Then Bilbao, Vigo, Santiago, Donosti, Santander, Valencia, Madrid, Granada, Seville, Zaragoza and Barcelona await. Details on their website.
