Almost coinciding with the performance spoken word of Kae Tempest in Barcelona, within the framework of the Greek Festivalan adaptation of his play comes to our country “Paradise”.
With dramaturgy and direction Moreno Bernardiarrives in Barcelona “Paradise”the work of Kae Tempest in which he reimagines the Greek legend of Philoctetes, adapting it to modern times and talking to us about themes such as loyalty, companionship or manipulation.
The work can be seen in the Barcelona Akademia Theater between the June 19 and July 7which will be the first staging of the work in Europe after its premiere in the United Kingdom at the National Theater in London.
It is a co-production between the Akademia Theater and The Spazio, with a duration of two hours and which, on this occasion, is performed in Catalan. The authorship is, obviously, Kae Tempestwhile the dramaturgy and direction are signed by Sadurni Vergés; the musical composition is Moreno Bernardi –with violin David Flores–, and it stars Zúbel Arana, Maria Estela, Núria Dalmau, Uri Guillem, Sara Palomo, Roger Sahuquillo, Aina Serena, Albert Muntané and David Flores.
