Panda Bear releases ‘Defense’ with Cindy Lee and announces new album

Panda Bear today announced the release of his first solo album since 2019. ‘Sinister Grift’ will be available on February 28, 2025. The psychedelic first single is already on platforms and is a collaboration with Cindy Lee, whose ‘ Diamond Jubilee’ is already one of the best albums of 2024.

Between his previous album, ‘Buoys’, and ‘Sinister Grift’, Noah Lennox released the great ‘Reset’ with Sonic Boom, based on samples from the 50s and 60s. The new album has been recorded in their own studio in Lisbon and co-produced by Deakin, bandmate in Animal Collective.

On ‘Defense’, Lennox takes full charge of the vocals, while Lee provides the playing with his recognizable vintage guitars. It turns out a catchy psychedelic pop cut.
