Our 10 favorites from Río Babel 2025

Río Babel will celebrate its eighth edition on July 4 and 5, moving to Rivas Vaciamadrid for the first time. The Madrid festival presents an interesting and eclectic poster – we remember that they were pioneers in inviting Bad Bunny – formed by names of different genres and epochs: Kase.O, Estopa, Madness, Cypress Hill, Lia Kali and Yerai Cortés are some of the most prominent.

Jnesaispop, an official medium of the event, has prepared a list with the 10 essential artists offered by this new installment of Río Babel. The schedules and all the details about the snacks to Rivas are now available.

MADNESS

With its unmistakable style based on the ska and the 2 tone and letters full of ingenuity and humor, Madness promise to be a party in Río Babel. The British band has active since its foundation in 1976, turning and throwing discs continuously. The most recent of these was in 2023. Kase.O

Javier Ibarra ends his break in Río Babel and will present a repertoire reviewing his 30 years of experience as one of the hip hop referents in Spanish, sometimes with a touch of jazz.
