The 2023 edition of Operation Triunfo was one of the greatest successes that are remembered from Amazon Prime Video in Spain, especially in terms of virality in the networks. Its participants have run better and worse luck: the winner Naiara still has no album, Juanjo Bona sounds like the moral winner of the edition at the moment, having focused not on the mainstream but on the regional folk and the underground, and Lucas-Lucas-Lucas is not even in universal after the null impact of her album. Despite the best and worse results, the hype for OT’s return is huge.
After a 2024 that we could call “fallow”, this week it has been announced that the release date of the new edition is September 15 at 22.00 with the traditional gala 0.
In this gala or we will see 18 applicants to enter the academy. The jury composed of Abraham Mateo, Leire Martínez, Guille Milkyway and Cris Regatero will choose 15 finalists and the public’s votes will choose at 16.
The galas will be every Monday at 10 pm. Thus, until the grand finale of December 15: no, this year OT will not make staff work all Christmas.

What we can see will be the ‘Connection OT’ program with Míriam Rodríguez, which will be broadcast live from Tuesday to Saturday through Prime Video. The space replaces “OT a day” by Xuso Jones.
Likewise, all content will also be available on demand, in addition to broadcasting live. There will also be 24 hours on YouTube, which is considered one of the keys to the success of the previous edition.
