Oneohtrix Point Never announces album before its visit to Madrid

The concert will be part of his tour “Again2”the tour corresponding to their tenth and last album so far, “Again”. For the tour, he will be in charge of design, creative direction and visual effects. Freeka Tetwhile Nate Boyce will be in charge of the digital animation part. But pay attention because it has just been announced “Tranquilizer”which will be their new album and which will be released on November 17 in digital format and November 21 in physical format by the hand of Warp Records.

From the album you can already hear songs like “For Residue”, “Lifeworld” or “Bumpy”, although we do not know if any of them will be played at their Madrid concert, since the tour is still focused on “Again”.

Lopatin is not only recognized for his music, but also for the artists he has collaborated with. He was musical director of the performance of The Weeknd at halftime of the 2021 Super Bowl, and was executive producer of their album “Dawn FM” (22). He has also collaborated with artists such as James Blake, Ishmael Butler, Charli XCX, Kelsey Lu, Iggy Pop either Rosalia.

As if that were not enough, he has composed music for several films such as ““Uncut Gems” (19) or ““Good Time” (17) with which he won the award for Best OST at the Cannes Festival that same year. His music has also been included in some films such as ““The Bling Ring” (13), from Sofia Coppola.
