On the fifth anniversary of “drivers license”, Olivia Rodrigo has kicked off a series of surprise collaborations starting with DDavid Byrne.
The single that catapulted the young singer to international stardom was “drivers license” with her subsequent debut album “SOUR“(Geffen Records, 21). And to commemorate the album, the American wanted to reveal the first of several versions that will make up a tribute album. The first version is that of the eclectic David Byrne.
It is well known that the singer and songwriter is a faithful admirer of music legends such as Robert Smith (The Cure), Billy Joel either David Byrne (Talking Heads). In fact, with all three he has been able to collaborate on stage, the last being in the emblematic Glastonbury Festival with the singer of The Cure.
