Spring Tours adds to its programming the visits of Oliver Tree and GBtwo international proposals that will go through Madrid and Barcelona in the coming months.
Californian Oliver Tree will perform on July 3 at the Sala Mon in Madrid and July 4 at the Sala Apolo in Barcelona. The artist, known for his mix of pop-rock, absurd humor and viral aesthetics, will arrive with his recent album “Love You Madly Hate You Badly”a new work loaded with catchy melodies and its usual eccentric universe.
With a trajectory marked by albums like “Ugly is Beautiful”, “Cowboy Tears” either “Alone in a Crowd”Oliver Tree has established himself as one of the most unique figures of contemporary alternative pop, combining irony, immediate hits and a personality that is impossible to pigeonhole.
Tickets for both concerts will be available at Fever starting May 8 at 10:00 a.m. for 35 euros plus distribution costs.
On the other hand, the Danish Gustav Berntsen, known artistically as GB, will perform on September 12 at El Sótano in Madrid. The musician has just joined the London label AD 93, home to artists such as Moin, Joanne Robertson and James K, and is part of the new scene that has emerged around the so-called “Copenhagen sound”.
Their proposal moves between dream-pop, shoegaze and trip-hop, with an atmospheric and delicate approach that has already begun to attract attention outside of Denmark. After publishing works such as “Gusse Music”GB will present its new repertoire in Madrid in what will be its first concert in the city. Tickets for this date are now on sale for 18 euros plus distribution costs through Fever.
