Oasis sell out tour and take over Spotify UK

Oasis will not give interviews for fear of separating

The Oasis reunion continues to generate headlines. First there were the dates in the United Kingdom and Ireland, then the exorbitant prices in official auctions, then the American dates, finally the Australian ones.

Noel Gallagher had given an interview this year talking about the 30th edition of ‘Definitely Maybe’ before it was known that he was plotting a meeting with Liam. But the brothers have not spoken to the press about the ins and outs of this unlikely reunion.

Now Liam Gallagher has explained to a fan who asked him on Twitter/X why there is no actual interview promo, nor a press conference. Their fans demand that Oasis explain what their next concerts will be like, what brought them together, whether it was just money or also a certain need to reconnect with the public, and above all if there may be new music on the way.

In response to the message that quotes him: “I think Noel doesn’t want to do interviews because you are much more fun”, Liam has responded with a certain seriousness for which he is used to in X: “We don’t want to do interviews because we are afraid that the media will make us “intrusive questions and try to dig holes in our relationship.” I mean, if Liam is serious about this, he’s afraid that his relationship with Noel, which is probably hanging by a thread, will go to hell because of a bad statement. Or simply a statement that the other is willing to misinterpret.

In another tweet, Liam specifies that they are not going to give any interviews, as NME reports, and in another he jokes that “he can’t be that stupid.” There will also be no press conferences.

Oasis are expected to perform in continental Europe in 2026 as early as 2026, although that tour has not been confirmed. At the moment the tour begins in Wales on July 4 and ends on November 7 in Sydney. All dates, on Wikipedia.
